Arch Viz Week 1 Progress

Neither of my reference rooms had the exact doors/windows I wanted so I went and searched designs on Google to place into my room. I chose to go with a more rectangular-looking door design than my reference image and for the windows I shrank down in size so they weren't as gigantic as my reference. (The widows I made in Maya also very closely resemble the windows in my room back home!

This is what the whole thing looked like when it was put together:

Arch Viz Part 1 Reference Gathering

I was looking for a black and white type room design, something that looks simple, yet fancy, when searching different layouts, there were two rooms that really caught my eye.

In the room in the first photo, I like the bed, nightstand with the lamp, rug, and dresser in the back. I'd probably want to extend the rug so that way it would cover the entire floor rather than leave the white polish.

From the room in the second photo I like the ceiling/wall design and the lamp in the corner, as well as the pillows pressed up against the headboard.

The blue print I found shows generally where I would like to place everything: two copies of the night stand on the bed, the lamp in place of where the plant is, and the dresser in place of where the desk is. I also want to place a window directly in front of the bed, but I'm not sure if I want to do one large window or 2 medium sized ones
